We seek organized, proactive individuals to join Awoostria’s Programming Team. As a Panel Room Coordinator, you’ll oversee panel schedules, manage room setup and inventory, and work closely with hosts to bring their ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan the Convention Schedule: Organize and maintain a comprehensive schedule for panel events.
Coordinate with Panel Hosts: Communicate with hosts to gather requirements, approve ideas, and ensure needs are met.
Plan and Manage Inventory: Track and allocate equipment, supplies, and other essentials for each room.
Reconfigure Rooms: Assist in room reorganization to accommodate varying panel setups.
Approve Panel Applications: Review and approve panel proposals based on convention guidelines.
Setup and Teardown Support: Help prepare and clean up panel spaces.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Clear and professional communication abilities.
Attention to detail in inventory and scheduling.
Flexibility to adapt to last-minute changes.
Team player with a proactive attitude.
Previous event planning experience is a plus but not required.
Time Commitment:
Approximately 6 to 12 hours per month leading up to the convention, with increased availability during the event for setup, coordination, and teardown.
