Artist Alley Policy

Last updated

General

  • Artist Alley is a place for vendors, artists and publishers to sell prints, crafts, arts and other items marketable to the Furry Fandom.

  • Sales in the Artist Alley are permitted only to registered attendees and their assistants in their designated space.

  • Dealer is the single person responsible for the dealership and the authority for questions from the staff. Each dealer (and their assistant) can run only one dealership, with a valid Awoostria registration. Subsequently Vendors, Dealers and Artists are referred to solely as “Dealer(s)”

  • The Dealer Assistant is a person working in a dealership, supporting the dealer while having the same access and sale privileges as the dealer themselves. Every Dealer can have one assistant at a time, however assistant status can be transferred from one person to another.

  • Electricity for tables isn’t provided.

  • Artist Alley tables are provided in a first come first served style.

  • Items and services in violation of rules or laws must not be offered. Adult and suggestive material is prohibited in Artist Alley

  • Dealership build-ups must not reach into other dealerships or walkways. The Maximum height of displayed merchandise is 80 centimeters above the table, the setup must be secured and stable to prevent it from falling over.

  • Dealers are required to pack down their stand and merchandise, and clean the area completely at the end of sales from any trash or leftover items belonging to their table. Leaving the area dirty at the end of sales will lead to dealer being potentially blocked from further sales at the Artist Alley.

  • External accessories such as hangers or racks are not allowed. Only space of table itself can be used for display of goods.

  • Dealers’ Den Staff Management decisions are final.

  • Dealers’ Den Management reserves the right to revoke dealer status, dealer assistant status, dealerships, access to Artist Alley and other granted privileges at any time for any reason.

Obtaining a table at Artist Alley

  • Tables are obtained at a first come first served style – being the first one to be at the table for the current day will secure the table for you for the whole day of opening hours of Artist Alley.

  • Setup of Artist Alley Dealership can commence from 11:00 each day.

  • Sales in Artist Alley can happen only during opening hours

  • Dealers are required to sign a Dealers Waiver with a representative of Dealers’ Den staff before the start of operating their table.

  • Dealers CANNOT start the sales before signing the Dealers Waiver.

  • Should a Dealer decide to end their sales before the end of Artist Alley hours, they are required to pack their table, clean the area and leave the table free for a next possible dealer.

  • Every individual alone is responsible to be compliant with all the requirements and laws, mainly but not limited to: legal registration, taxes, payment processing, return policies, etc. Awoostria does not take responsibility for legal compliance of the sales of Goods and Services.

  • Merchandise must be relevant to the furry fandom or theme of convention
