DD volunteers are crucial for the smooth running of the den, from preparing the room based on the current plan to crowd control of attendees, ensuring a smooth experience for everyone.

Assisting and actively helping Dealers and Attendees
Qualifications and Profile:
Time management – Each volunteer will need to be present during their assigned window (about 3-4 hours a day).
Independence – Volunteers will be required to actively communicate with and manage people at the entrance and inside the room.
Healthy self-confidence – DD rules need to be enforced equally for everyone, and DD volunteers are responsible for this enforcement.
Team spirit – You will be part of a team. Communicate, support each other, and we will be there for you.
Time Commitment:
The required time commitment for each volunteer includes setting up the room at the start (arranging tables, banners, etc.) and teardown (cleaning up) at the end. Each process takes about 2 hours.
Outside of setup and teardown, each volunteer will have a shift in the Dealers Den, consisting of entrance control and checking on the den for 3-4 hours daily. These shifts will be scheduled collaboratively, taking into account the panels volunteers want to attend.
Training and Support:
Each volunteer will be briefed on how the Dealers Den operates and their key responsibilities through several online meetups (via Discord) before the convention, as well as an in-person briefing before the den is set up at the event.
